Inspection & Control Services (ICS) participated in the recent WCO IT Conference & Exhibition held in Seoul, Republic of Korea from 23rd to 25th April 2008. The topic for conference this year was "Integrated Border Management - Is IT Essential?". The 3-day event included presentations and discussions to explore the role of information technology in managing security at the border. Approximately 400 delegates from several Customs Administrations, the ICT sector, governmental & trade organisations and representatives from border regulatory agencies took part in this conference.
ICS was one of the Platinum sponsors for the event showcasing the capabilities of our flagship product MicroClear®. This conference provided ICS an opportunity to meet a variety of potential customers and associates, identify IT opportunities in the Customs environment and give complete demo of our system to interested parties. MicroClear® was featured at the WCO IT Conference & Exhibition for the past six years consecutively- WCO 2002 IT Symposium in Brussels, Belgium, WCO 2003 IT Conference in the Republic of South Africa, WCO 2004 IT Conference in Malaysia, WCO 2005 IT Conference in Turkey, WCO 2006 IT Conference in India and WCO 2007 IT Conference & Exhibition in Mexico.
