PWC Logistics in partnership with Jawad Business Group recently launched a state of the art warehousing & distribution facility in Bahrain. The joint venture called PWC Logistics Bahrain BSC(c) is the first of its kind Logistics, Warehousing and Supply Chain Facility in Bahrain.
The inauguration took place at the hands of Dr. Hassan Abdulla Fakhro; Minister of Industry – Kingdom of Bahrain at PWC Logistics’ facility in Mameer Industrial Area and was followed by a high profile official reception & lunch at the Ritz Carlton Hotel Manama, Bahrain.
Located at Mameer Industrial Area (an area of 19,325 sq m) on land leased from the Ministry of Industry; the facility is equipped with the latest in storage technology that will maximize space utilization and operational efficiency. It includes Very Narrow Aisle High Bay Racking System and utilizes sophisticated material handling equipment to handle goods up to 14 meters storage height. It has a total racking storage capacity of 42,000 cubic meters, with 16,700 cubic meters allocated for frozen & chilled items and 26,000 cubic meters for dry / ambient items in an air conditioned environment.
This wholly integrated Logistics and Warehouse management facility offers world class features that include:

The Jawad Business Group will be the first customer of PWC Global Logistics and will outsource its full warehousing and distribution requirements to the joint venture. In return Jawad Business Group will realize a state of the art logistics operation at a lower cost.
PWC Logistics Bahrain BSC(c) will serve the logistics needs of the local Bahraini and Eastern Saudi Province with its state of the art facilities.
