The Public Warehousing Company KSC (PWC Logistics) has been awarded an exclusive five year (2 years plus 3 years option) contract by the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (Defense Logistics Agency) for the supply of prime vendor food and non-food products to the US Army, Navy, Marines, and Air Force operating in the regions of Kuwait, Qatar, and Iraq. Although the minimum annual value of the contract is $US 22,391,904 per year, the value of the contract is expected to substantially exceed the contractual minimums due to the fact that force levels have increased by 2000% -3000% as a result of the current military presence in the region. The execution of the contract will leverage PWC’s technology and global logistics capabilities with work being performed at various facilities in the USA, Qatar, Kuwait, Dubai, and Iraq. The Sultan Center Food Products Co. KSC is also expected to be a primary service provider through its involvement as a supplier of market ready goods and other services.
