In keeping with a continuing focus on providing Quality service to its customers, The Public Warehousing Company (PWC) made the transition from ISO 9002:1994 to the new Quality Management Standard – ISO 9001:2000. PWC was formally presented with their certification for: “The provision of Third Party Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Overland Transport, Property Management, Property Development, Warehouse Management, Freezer & Chiller Facilities, Bonded Warehousing and Distribution, Customs Management, Modernization and Inspection.”
Lloyds Register Quality Assurance( LRQA) Lead Assessor, Mr. Sunil Sharma audited the PWC Quality System and found the company’s practices to be in compliance with the international Quality standard, which resulted in the award of ISO 9001:2000 certification.
The transition certification was achieved in a short span of time and reflects the maturity and dynamic nature of the existing Quality System as well as the professionalism and customer focus exhibited by its staff. It is recognition well deserved and PWC thanks its Staff and customers for making this possible.
