On the 24th December 1999 PWC Global Logistics received formal notification from EQA (UK) that Global Logistics has been awarded ISO9001: 1994 certification, certificate number 986.

PWC Global Logistics has also been confirmed as the first Logistics provider in the World to have successfully integrated not only ISO 9001 with the Environmental Management System (ISO14001: 1996); but also with the new revised standard of 9001/2000-1998.

PWC Global Logistics has determined to demonstrate its capability to meet customer requirements. The Quality Management System provides an internationally recognized certification of a commitment to Service Delivery through the means of clearly defined and structured documentation, and business processes. The validation processes allow for direct feedback from our customers during the logistics process of Service Delivery, as a means to determine how well their needs are being met and also to identify opportunities for us as a company to implement improvements and to continuously develop our levels of service in the market place for the benefit of all of our current and future customers.

A formal presentation of the ISO Certificate will be at PWC Headquarters in the last week of January 2000.

PWC hopes to announce the achievement of ISO 9001:1994, for its’ Corporate Head, by the second quarter of this year. This is part of PWC’s plan for international recognition of its high levels of commercial achievement and service delivery.
