The Price Research System is a web-based online workflow engine which intelligently coordinates the activities of ICS’ global price research and intelligence gathering capabilities. The system links our global network of offices and supports our worldwide price research activities which are carried out in accordance with the criteria stipulated in the Agreement on the Implementation of Article VII of GATT 1994. The Price Research System: Is the only working and proven system of its kind Is based on the latest web-based technology Is compliant with Article VII Links a global network of experienced price analysts to customs and tax officials Provides the capability to search the database and to request and acquire new prices Has an extensive database of over 3 million researched international prices, which is constantly updated and expanded. Is designed to give adequate legal backup in accordance with the WTO Regulations Provides price information to Customs authorities to assist them in evaluating the accuracy of the declared transaction value for imports. Yields significant revenue enhancements (over 20% increase)
